Simple Silent Auction

The Simple Silent Auction can be used for running a simple auction where people can submit bids over the web. Users can submit items for the auction and include a digital photo.

Features:
  • Anyone can submit an item, which is categorized
  • Submitted item can have a digital photo which is resized down to 500 pixels
  • Integrated registration and login system
  • Only registered users can bid
  • Bid submitted is a maximum bid. System will auto-bid in $1 increments up to maximum bid.
  • Fixed-bid option to bid an exact amount
  • Surpassed bidder is notified via email with link to re-bid
  • Option to log all successful bids
  • Option to automatically approve all submitted items, or not
The administrator can perform the following password protected functions:
  • Open/Close entire auction for bidding
  • Delete all auction items
  • Clear bid amounts from all items
  • Open/Close individual items for bidding
  • Approve/Edit/Delete auction items
  • Create printable report of auction items
  • Create report of all winning bids
  • Email all winning bidders
  • Automatically open the entire auction at specific date/time
  • Automatically close the entire auction or individual items at specific date/time
  • Display bid log
